And now for a few words from Rosie:

Introductions

Let me introduce myself. My name is Rosie, and this is my story.

The Backstory

I was sitting on a wooden shelf in a store in Sisters, Oregon. An excellent place to hang out, if I do say so myself. The next thing I knew, I was being scooped up by a young woman who insisted on buying me as a gift for her mother. Cool!

As it turned out my new owner, Lis, loves to travel with her husband, Ken. They have decided to take me along on their adventures, so it’s good that I weigh less than a pound.

The Adventure

I have learned this European adventure begins with a gigantic-sized reunion. I am a bit reclusive, so that whole event should be interesting. I’ve discovered that hiding in the confines of Lis’s purse is always an option when things are overwhelming. Also, the itinerary includes a seven-day cruise and Lis and Ken assured me it would be great fun.

Five countries are on the itinerary, and they are listed below:

  • Norway
  • France
  • England
  • Italy
  • Spain

I’ve learned there are many opportunities for sharing travel tips, photographs, and experiences. When it comes to posing for pictures, I’m a pro! Before I return to watching another segment of ‘Crows vs. Eagles’ from the window ledge, here’s your first segment of Rosie’s Pearls.

Rosie’s Pearls

Occasionally, Lis wonders why I’m so reflective and caught up in my thoughts. Just because I’m lightweight, furry, and soft doesn’t mean my thoughts don’t run deep. After watching the crows taunt and torment the eagles for the 26th time this morning, I’m remembering:

  1. Lead with kindness. It doesn’t cost a thing, and the rewards are infinite.

  2. Is there someone in your life who is suffering? Let them know you are there for them if they need you. It only takes one person to remind us we are not alone.

I wish you many beautiful moments in the coming days, and if you feel like reaching out, I will enjoy hearing from you.

With love,

Rosie
